Morzine - the Ski Resort

Since its first ski lift opened in 1934, Morzine Village has retained its original Haute Savoie character, giving the town an authentic historical feel with all the convenience of a modern day resort with cool bars, trendy shops and traditional local restaurants.

With one foot in France and the other in Switzerland, Morzine is at the heart of the largest ski area in the world: the Portes du Soleil. With access to 14 resorts and 266 ski runs, there is something here for all levels (with 26 black runs, 100 reds, 106 blues, and 34 greens).

From our central position, Morzine, Les Gets and Avoriaz are all easily accessible. Boarders will find some excellent snow parks, with a half pipe in Avoriaz.

Night skiing is also available on the Pleney slope in Morzine along with the weekly History of Skiing show and a torchlit descent by the French ski instructors.

Sojourn Morzine is positioned just outside the village, allowing you to enjoy both the tranqulity of the region as well as the lively nature of the village. A complimentary driver service is available to all guests to and from the village, ski schools and lifts.
